W Squared Autosport is a women-led motorsport team based in Surrey. W Squared Autosport is the controller of personal information submitted through this website. This notice explains what we collect and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Name and contact details
- Location and preferred contact method
- Race-licence status
- Driving, track or racing experience
- 2027 objectives, event interests and optional budget or package expectations
- Any other information included in an enquiry
How we use it
We use information submitted through the driver-interest form to respond to the enquiry, assess whether a relevant opportunity may be suitable, discuss possible race-seat arrangements, and contact the person about relevant W Squared Autosport driver opportunities where permission has been given.
Legal basis
We rely on consent when a person asks to be contacted about driver opportunities. When responding to a direct enquiry or discussing a possible agreement, we may also process information because it is necessary to take steps requested before entering into a contract or because we have a legitimate interest in managing genuine enquiries. Consent can be withdrawn at any time by contacting us.
Sharing and storage
We do not sell personal information. Contact Form 7 sends website enquiries to our email account and does not, by default, keep a separate submissions database in WordPress. Information may be processed by the providers used to host the website and deliver email, including Hostinger and Apple, subject to their safeguards and applicable data-protection law.
Instagram gallery
The Gallery may display posts from W Squared Autosport’s official Instagram account through an authorised WordPress feed integration. Instagram content is provided by Meta and may be subject to Meta’s availability, privacy controls, cookies and platform terms. Loading or interacting with that content may allow Meta to process technical information under its own privacy terms. If the feed is unavailable or not authorised, the site shows a direct link to the Instagram profile instead.
How long we keep information
General driver enquiries are normally kept for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact, then deleted or anonymised unless an agreement is entered into, a longer period is required by law, or the person asks us to delete the information sooner. Records connected with a contract or financial transaction may be kept for up to six years for legal, accounting and insurance purposes.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict the use of your information, object to processing, withdraw consent, or receive a portable copy. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
