The championship
What is C1 endurance racing?
The Silverlake C1 Endurance Series is a one-make endurance category organised through BRSCC and based on first-generation Citroën C1s. The official series page describes tightly controlled technical rules intended to keep the cars closely matched while placing the emphasis on drivers, teamwork and long-distance race execution.
The current series format includes a mixture of race lengths. BRSCC presently describes three-hour, five-hour and six-hour formats, alongside an annual 24-hour race at Silverstone. The published event list is for 2026; the 2027 calendar and W Squared Autosport’s selected events have not yet been announced.
- Car platformFirst-generation Citroën C1s prepared to the series’ controlled technical regulations.
- Race formatLong-distance events require consistent driving, clean handovers and effective team communication.
- Driver eligibilityThe published 2026 regulations require at least a valid Motorsport UK Competition (Racing) Interclub licence. They also provide for qualifying National or FIA licences subject to stated conditions. Requirements for 2027 are not yet published.
- Driver crewsPublished 2026 rules specify two to four drivers for events of six hours or less and three to six drivers for longer events. W² has not announced its 2027 crew sizes or seat allocation.
Important: championship formats and regulations can change. W Squared Autosport will confirm the applicable event, eligibility requirements and commercial terms before asking any driver to commit. See the official BRSCC series page for current championship information.

The driver journey
From first conversation to a confirmed seat.
Planning an endurance drive is easier when the journey is separated into the decisions made before an event, the arrangements at the circuit and the demands of the race itself. The scope below describes the questions that will be resolved—not a promise of unconfirmed package inclusions.
Before availability is offered
Register your licence status, location, relevant circuit or race experience and what you want from 2027. W² can then assess whether a planned opportunity is appropriate and arrange a direct conversation.
Build the event plan
If an opportunity progresses, the selected event, driver eligibility, seat availability, timetable, required equipment, package scope, pricing and payment terms will be confirmed in writing before any commitment.
Prepare for endurance racing
Long-distance racing rewards consistency, communication and disciplined handovers as well as outright pace. Event-specific briefings, driver-change plans and trackside arrangements will depend on the confirmed race and W² package.
Who should register?
Drivers planning their 2027 season.
Expressions of interest are welcome from drivers with existing circuit-racing experience, racers exploring endurance competition and people working towards the required licence who want to understand future opportunities.
- Drivers looking for a Citroën C1 race seat in the UK.
- Racers interested in selected Silverlake C1 Endurance events.
- Drivers seeking a clear discussion about event fit, package scope and budget.
- Prospective endurance racers willing to share relevant experience and objectives.
2027 race-seat questions
What prospective drivers need to know.
Are W Squared Autosport C1 race seats confirmed for 2027?
Paid-for driver opportunities are planned, but W² has not yet confirmed the event calendar, number of seats or availability. Registering interest places you on the update list; it does not reserve or guarantee a drive.
Which Silverlake C1 Endurance events will W² enter?
Specific 2027 entries have not been announced. W² plans to consider selected events once the calendar, programme and operational arrangements are confirmed.
What race licence will I need?
The published 2026 regulations require at least a valid Motorsport UK Competition (Racing) Interclub licence and also provide for qualifying National or FIA licences subject to stated conditions. The exact licence and event requirements for 2027 must be checked against the regulations applicable at the time.
How many drivers share a C1 in an endurance race?
Under the published 2026 rules, events of six hours or less use crews of two to four drivers, while longer events use three to six. The 2027 rules and W² crew allocations have not yet been announced.
Will I need C1 Racing Club or BRSCC membership?
The published 2026 regulations require every driver to be a current C1 Racing Club member and at least one driver in each car to be a BRSCC Racing Member. The requirements for 2027 must be rechecked when the new regulations are published.
How much will a 2027 C1 race seat cost?
Pricing has not been published. Costs will depend on the selected event and the final package. W² will explain confirmed inclusions, exclusions and commercial terms before any financial commitment.
Is this a complete C1 arrive-and-drive package?
No arrive-and-drive package has yet been published. Prospective drivers can describe the support they need in the form, including any package or budget expectations, so W² can assess future options accurately.
Can a driver without C1 endurance experience register?
Yes, you can register your interest and describe your current licence status and experience. Registration does not establish eligibility or guarantee a seat; suitability will be discussed against the requirements of any confirmed opportunity.
What information should I include?
Please provide your location, race-licence status, relevant driving or racing experience, 2027 objectives, preferred contact method and any optional package or budget expectations.
Does registering interest commit me to paying?
No. Registering interest is not a booking, contract or financial commitment. Confirmed availability and written terms would be provided before any commitment is requested.
